What You Bring To The Conversation

You know that feeling when a conversation is perfectly fine…
and yet you leave it feeling a little off?

At one point I started wondering—
am I doing that to someone?

For me, it was my ex-husband.

Before reaching out, I started writing down a few things I appreciated about him. Even when they were small. Especially then.

And something shifted.

I stopped bracing.
Conversations softened.
Things got easier.

Because we don’t just bring words into a conversation…
we bring energy.

And people feel it.
